Sriracha Flavored Baked Potato or Sweet Potato

Here is a recipe that could not be any easier to make.  For a great side dish to just about any entree that is healthy as it is baked and tasty for anyone who loves Sriracha flavor.  This recipe is also vegan for plant based diets, and gluten-free.  Baking any type of potato, depending on your taste preference will turn out  great with any flavor of Sriracha Seasoning Stix from Classic Sriracha to Butter Garlic.  

Ingredients:

  • 1-4 russet or red potatoes or use medium sweet potatoes (1-4 depending on servings)
  • 1-4 Sriracha Stix (one stick per potato)
  • Toppings desired:
  • - chives
  • - light or vegan sour cream or greek yogurt
  • - chopped cabbage pieces   
  • - cheese or vegan toppings

Directions:

  1. Poke holes throughout each potato with a fork to allow steam for cooking
  2. Place potatoes on a baking sheet
  3. Bake potatoes at 375 degrees for 25 minutes
  4. When soft enough - pull poke a skewer through potato, then insert Sriracha Stix
  5. Bake another 20 minutes or until completely done
  6. Cut an X through the center of each potato to make sure they are soft throughout
  7. Chop toppings or prepare those desired
  8. Add selected toppings and enjoy!

Adding in Sriracha Stix to side dishes like baked potatoes are a perfect way to add and balance the seasoning to items from the inside out.  After adding in Sriracha Stix, the hard part of adding multiple seasonings is done - so fast and easily!  If you want to add in more feel free to do so if more flavor is desired after trying the recipe once.
